I am impressed with the group of girls that make up our team. Although there is much work to be done, I am confident that we have what it takes to come together, have fun and compete.

Cyclones Fastpitch Update

It has been a great pleasure so far to work with you girls. We've had some fun and the smaller groups and relaxed pace have allowed for some valuable individualized attention to many of our players' needs. Our main focus, of the past 12 hours or so of workouts has been to work on becoming more effective hitters. Fundamentals, drills and live hitting will continue to help us in this goal. It has been particularly gratifying to see slight adjustments lead to better results for most of our players. Going forward , our work will continue in areas of hitting, base running and defensive skills and situations.
Ahead we have both challenges and opportunities. For us to be a competitive as a team and individually,  each of us must continue to progress and get better in the days, weeks and months ahead. I am confident that this can and will occur.
